Pole Yoga Fitness
Andrea discovered pole dancing in 2010 from a Groupon for a class at her local pole studio. She appreciates pole as a sensual form of art and enjoys empowering women and men through fitness and dance. She began performing in 2012, teaching pole and yoga in 2013, and competed in 2014. She believes in a holistic approach to fitness and incorporates a combination of strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular training into her fitness classes.
Andrea has been an occupational therapist since 2006. She has experience working with hundreds of people with a variety of different disabilities, injuries, and illnesses. She holds a Masters Degree in Health Sciences and has extensive training in anatomy, neurology, and psychology. She is also a registered yoga instructor and a certified personal trainer. She enjoys accommodating all levels of fitness and uses a variety of therapeutic techniques she has learned over the years in her classes to help heal and prevent injuries.
