There's no doubt that pole fitness has been taking the world by storm in the last 5-10 years. Pole studios are popping up around the world - there's over 20 pole studios in Los Angeles alone, but for some reason the pole fitness movement has been relatively quiet in the San Diego area. Up until now.
There are several new studios that have been opening in just the last couple years and amazing new events happening all over San Diego (make sure you don't miss out!). Here are a few of the current pole studios in and around San Diego and some of the events they have coming up.
First up is Pole Sinsations which was the first studio in San Diego, opening it's doors originally in Hillcrest and then expanding into their current space on 5th Avenue in 2009. They will be hosting their first show this weekend - August 13th 6-8 pm and the cost is $15. For tickets or to check out their website for more info, visit http://www.polesinsations.com/.
Fun Pole Fitness is another pole studio in San Diego that has been opened since November 2009. They hold bi-annual studio recitals called SOFA. Their next show is a Nightmare Before Christmas theme, date TBD. For info, visit them at http://www.funpolefitness.com/index.html.
Moving on up the San Diego coast, next up is The Dollhouse Fitness (now called The Dollhouse Collective) located in North County San Diego in Encinitas, CA. This studio has featured regular performance parties for several years which always feature sexy talent, but they have decided to take it to the next level by hosting their upcoming show Sinners Welcome this Friday August 12th 2016 7 pm at the Irenic in San Diego (General Admission cost is $50). This show will feature multiple talented and renown polers from around the world including Michelle Shimmy, Marion Crampe, Maddie Sparkle, Flying Laura, and many more. Her studio features shows called Indulge: An Intimate Pole Affair. Their last show was July 8th 2016 and they also held a pole camp last month.
